I can also offer full care support packages for help with general living skills and all social aspects of daily life.
Your IT Now is founded on the following principles
To allow all people an equal chance to access the internet and Information Technology regardless of age, race, sex, ability, social background and disability.
To always safeguard the clients rights and privacy and to take all reasonable measures to protect the service user and their personal information.
To respect the persons wishes and right to make their own informed choices.
To provided a fun and enjoyable environment in which to work free from discrimination and judgment.
To ensure the highest quality advice and information is provided to the people we work with.
What we offer
Here at Your IT Now I offer a totally individualised, person centred approach to learning. Our target group are adults with a learning difficulty.
We can work with you on an individual basis or as part of a small group.
We work with individuals or Care homes to work with people around whatever computer type project they want ,be that social networking, researching a hobby, or just learning the basics of computers and the internet. I can be funded by direct payments ,individual budgets and privite funds and this gives me great flexibility with regards to tailor making the session to the individuals needs and strengths.
As well as my specialist IT services I can also offer a general 'Life skills'service tailored to peoples needs. I can help the person with all areas of daily life but especially around the social side and due to my wide experience I can recommend many other services which could be beneficial to the person and will help to expand their horizons.
I have worked in Social Care for the last 17 years, working in both the private and public sector. I have a wide ranging knowledge of many of the pressing issues that face both Service Users and Carers, especially in relation to computers and information technology.
I have a City and Guilds qualifications in care and fully DBS/CRB checked and insured.
In July 2017 I won the "Making a difference award" at the National Learning Disability and Autism awards in Birmingham.
