Wessex House is a comfortable home located in the ancient and picturesque town of Somerton, in the heart of Somerset. The home is located near to shops, and local amenities. As a purpose built residential home, Wessex House is designed with residents’ wellbeing in mind.
Wessex House is furnished to a high standard throughout, and all of the bedrooms are fitted with a nurse call system. Many rooms have the benefit of en-suite facilities. Accommodation consists of single rooms, although we may be able to arrange shared room accommodation if required. Lift access is available to all parts of the home. Residents and their guests are welcome to use the communal seating areas, lounges and well-appointed dining area.
Wessex House has an Activities Co-ordinator who organises a variety of events and activities for residents to take part in. These range from arts and crafts, to music and our popular gardening club.
We have IT facilities available for all to use including Wi-Fi and Skype, which can be used to maintain contact with friends and relatives that may not live locally.
